Matt Yang King
Matt Yang King is a versatile actor, widely recognized for his role as Marty Mantle in Riverdale and his contributions to the David Fincher/Tim Miller Netflix anthology Love, Death and Robots. King’s voice acting includes roles in Studio Ghibli’s Only Yesterday alongside Daisy Ridley, as well as in Transformers, Fortnite, Justice League vs The Fatal Five, Batman Ninja, and voicing Illidan in Warcraft.
Beyond these, King has been a series regular on Washington Field, with guest appearances on shows ranging from Friends to Frasier, and notable roles in Strong Medicine, 24 and Numb3rs. His voice work extends to playing Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat, Appa and Momo in Avatar: The Last Airbender, as well as Nicky “Tunnel Rat” Lee in GI Joe: Renegades, earning him a BTVA award nomination.
MYK was recognized for screenwriting, winning the CAPE/Hollywood Foreign Press Young Screenwriters Award, and is working on projects like The World of Steam and Goblins Animated. Recently, King’s voice talents have been featured in Disney’s Elemental and various franchises from TMNT to World of Warcraft. He’s set to star in Young Jedi Adventures, introducing characters from the High Republic books in its first season, including voicing Master Loden Greatstorm.
